8x20 versus 10x25 Compact Binoculars and Monoculars

This has been talked about before. But I was just wondering from a non-technical point of view what do the members of Birder's Forum prefer? If you were buying a compact binocular or monocular what size would you buy and why?

I have the Victory 8x20 and I didn't really consider the 10x25 at the time I got them.

I've been finding myself drifting up in magnification over time (using 10x bins a lot these days) but I don't really see myself moving to 10x25 soon. THe 8x in a very compact format seem to be enough for me.

I only use 8x20 o 8x25, but a friend has Leica Ultravid 10x25 and they are very, very impressive.
