Hi all, looking any opinions about the Vortex Viper vs. the Pentax DCF SP, or any other 8x32 options around $350 street price - Thanks.
If the price is the same I would go for Pentax. Bigger company, I think the pair is Japanese, if that makes a difference.
I have looked thru the 8x42 viper and 8x43 DCF SP. The DCF SP fit me better, but I think the view was similar and the warranty on the vortex is better. It was a toss up.
Also, I own a 6x32 viper which I like alot.
I don't think you can go wrong with either. My viper says Made in Japan.
