After having just spent the afternoon clearing out my back room I found the box to my old Leica 8x32 BA Trinovids, unfortunately the box is now empty due to selling them on last year....I could still just about make out that rubbery smell coming from the empty box!! *sighs ~ weeps*
After Leica had serviced them and covered them in a new rubber body I must have been mad to part with these, one of the best bins I've ever owned and wish I still had them!! Still can't forgive Leica for discontinueing them
Which optics have you parted with over the years only to regret it later?

I can't really help you here Matt as I am not good at selling things and they just end up in a drawer somewhere. Hence the pair of Zeiss Jenoptem 10x50 festering away in a cupboard at home.
Just to make you feel even worse, I now have a pair of 8x32 Trinovids and they are brilliant. Boy, you must be kicking yourself!

CZJ 8x50 Nobilem "Super". Stupidly traded for a non-phase coated 10x40 Dialyt in 1987. I got rid of the Dialyts six months later. The Nobilems are worth 3 times what I paid for them now, recognized as one of the all time greats.
