I think this is a good article for those who are in the process of choosing their first birding binoculars. Laying out significant money (for many of us even $100 is significant for binoculars) can be daunting and I for one was struck with "paralysis of over-analysis" concerning magnification.
In the spirit of the article feel free do disagree with the author's choice but the point is the subjectivity of the matter.
