I was looking to get advice on which one of these two binoculars is better. Or if you have any other binocular suggestions for around the same price range that would be greatly appreciated.
The First Binocular is
Nikon 10.5x45mm Monarch X Binoculars

I'd prefer the Monarchs. But in that price range, as you're on Long Island, check out Cameraland NY (Lexington Ave.). They have tons of binos that would be superb, and are now dealers for Zen-Ray optics, of which the Zen-Ray ED binoculars might be perfect for you. Try what you can instore first. (BTW I don't work for them, but am a satisfied customer).
