I've been doing a lot of online comparing and looking at reviews of various alpha 8x32s. A lot of the comparisons and reviews are a couple of years old on the net. A lot of these reviews are for non alpha bins aswell. So my question is what do you think is the best alpha 8x32 on the market at the moment. With my very limited knowledge of bins imo the Zeiss victorys FL 8x32 are the best alpha 8x32 bins on the market at the moment. I'm taking into account the optics, ergonomics, view, price etc. Thanks Ger.

Hmmm.... So you've never even tried any of the bins, and you're drawing conclusions about ergonomics? That's not really possible. You won't know anything about the ergonomics for you until you've tried them.
I also had the Zeiss as my top choice until I tried them--too small in my hands and the huge focus knob bumped into my nose when I tilted them down. The swaros, on the other hand, fit like a glove and were a joy to use--optical differences were barely noticeable (for me) in actual use.
I think the lesson is there's not necessarily a "best bin on the market" in any class, though there's probably a best bin for you.
My two cents,
Jim
use the 8x32 fl. In my opinion the best in this class. Like the feel of the swaros - optics not as sharp as the zeiss. Tried the new nixons. On a par will the zeiss but more pricy! As for the little leicas they come in fourth!
