Does anyone know if the new Nikon EDG2 matches with Swarovision for field flatness? Will Leica or Zeiss come up with new binoculars this year?
If flat field [or edge-to-edge] bins sell well, then I would expect all major names to jump in with both feet.

Does your question assume that there is also a change in the optics from the EDG (I) to the EDG (II) along with their new design? I haven't heard that before.
