Anyone try these? the are FMC, Bak-4, Waterproof, Fogproof, lightweight, 19mm ER....are these as good as they say? the only thing is 315 FOV!(8x40) for $119...maybe i should try the Nikon Action EX again at Academy...oy!
Binocular buying is tough!
I have a feeling Audubon products are pretty average, so there the price is the issue. If they are good enough for your purpose and workmanship is OK, I guess they will do. Some Wild Birds stores carry them, some Wild Birds only carry what Eagle Optics sends them, some have only Swifts.
Porros are not that hard to make. I was looking for 10x25 and was not happy with Audubon tiny roofs

The regular size roofs are a bit easier to make, so not really a fair evaluation of the AUdubon line.
