Well... I need a new pair of Binoculars.
My current pair seem to have sprung a leak, and so I get quite serious fogging problems when there is moisture in the air, or when the temperature is on the chilly side.
As that pretty well describes the British climate... you can see the problem.
My partner's are perfectly fine, and if I spent the same amount of money (apx £100) I would be tempted to replace like for like, that is to say Opticron Countryman.
Bu-u-u-u-u-ut... if I could squeeze up to £200, the festive season and a time for giving approaching, could I make any significant improvements for my (or my loving family's) money!
Sad to say, I don't think I can stretch the the £379 to take advantage of the Nikon offers in at Warehouse Express...
All advice greatly appreciated.

Birdman,
What power are you looking for? 7x? 10x?
Also, what size do you want - compact? mid-size? full size?
I'm assuming from your post that you want a waterproof/fogproof binocular this time, is this correct?
Best wishes,
Bawko
All good points and should've said. ![]()
Looking for 8 to 10x, and "proper" size... that is - not compacts.
I know that there are some super-duper pricey models that have special anti-fogging features... don't think I can afford that. What I do want is some that aren't going to fog up every time I so much as move them... as my current pair now do!
Otherwise, I would favour optical quality over other features.
