Birdwatching Mag Offer - Barr & Stroud Bins

I noticed in this month's Birdwatching magazine that they are offering a year's subs with the option of a pair of either Barr & Stroud Sahara 10x25 (total £70) or Barr & Stroud Sierra 8x32 (total £85).

I'm not so keen on the 10x25s, but are wondering if anyone has any experience of the Sierra 8x32s? They look quite compact from the pic in the mag and am thinking they would be a good spare pair to keep in the glovebox?

For info, my main pair are Viking Vistron 8x42s which for about £100 I find are very good value.

I think the sierra are a rebadged version of the Bresser Safari,I have had a of these for a couple years but could not get alomg with them because I found it difficult to get the right setting on the eyecups, other than that they are a reasonable pair of bins and, like mine,o.k. for spares in the car.
