It's a straight fight between the new Bushnell elite e2 8x42 or the vortex razor 8x42
has anybody had chance to test the bushnells yet? I'm finding lots of positives on the razors.
any thoughts appreciated.

Have you tried the new Opticron Imagic BGA SE 8x42 at £399.00, I found it a brighter than the vortex and more well made, the vortex felt a bit cheaply made for me, and does not seem to have the 7.8' field of view that it boost's, the Imagic at 7 degrees looked just as wide.
I would choose the Razor over the Elite E2 based on overall specs and ergonomics. If it was a comparison between the Razor and the original Bushnell Elites then I would probably would go for the Elites as they are lighter and smaller yet give up nothing optically to the Razors.
