Ok ill keep this short.
Im buying a pair of binos for my dad as a present.
i currently own the nikon sporters but i get the impression that he really wouldnt like exactly the same pair and the bushnell trophy ones seem to be the only other in my price range (around £100)
My question:
In comparison to the sporters how good are the bushnell trophy pair?

Probably not a fair comparison due to size difference but owning 8x25 Trophies and 10x36 Sporter's I'd say the Sporters are substantially brighter, sharper with a more neutral colour cast. The Trophies probably just have the edge in terms of visible chromatic aberation but generally the Sporters are noticeably better (not that the Trophies are bad for a budget binocular). Of course I'm comparing compacts to full size...
