hi all i am new to this particular forum and i have a question regarding digital camera and binocular combo devices.
i am looking for a combo device because we have a lot of eagles in our area and would love to get some real close ups. also have a bear in my back yard that would be nice to get some close ups with.
i know the first number 8x or 10x means magnification. but what does the second number means 30, 35, 42, etc. i also want the device to have an lcd.
besides what i am asking above any recommendations on a good but not highly expensive combo. oh, also want at least 3.0megpixel.
thanks a head of time.
Sorry to be the first one to tell you this, but forget it. It doesn't exsist yet. It's not even hard to do and someone will make a decent one with good optics and a decent camera as soon as their marketing department is convinced that there is a pretty good market for them. Till then, forget it, the ones that are out there at present are very poor excuses for either bins or cameras. (this was added via edit) Extremly sorry didn't do this while ago but failed to note this was your first post, but a heartly WELCOME to bird forum, hope you enjoy it.
that maybe well and true but i know these devices are out there and i really dont want to wait a couple more years before it gets to what you think it should be. want something to play with now. i appreciate your input though.
now the first part of my question wasnt answered.
