I'm still trying to find a decent stadium binoculars but the older porro models with 500' FoV or so all seem to have a rather short eye relief for us eyeglass wearers. However, some of these models show what looks like a hard deep plastic cup on the oculars and if I can remove these, would shortening their height on a lathe or something be enough that would bring my glasses closer to the lens without touching it and help let me see the entire view better? I'm more concern with function over looks. Thanks.
