I have a pair of Chinon 7 × 35 that my grandfather gave me 25+ years ago and that have seldom been used. Does anyone have an opinion on their quality as I can find little info on them?
Nick, I think I remember Chinon being a brand name for Dixons, seem to remember the produced cameras under that name too.
Have had a pair of 7-15x25 Chinon for at least 15 years and take them everywhere with me ..... think they're great ..... But what do i know - having just bought some 10x50's from Lidl's for a tenner and being well pleased with them too .... even got a case. neck strap and cleaning cloth with them .... sadly they got no more left.
Don't worry about the quality .... if you're happy when you look through them, then that's all that matters.
