Compact.mid binoc recomendations 8x28

I really need to get a pair of binocs i shake alot and am thinking that 8.5 would be perfect. Any recomendations for 8-8.5-9x and about 28mm obj or so. When i look at the weight of the 32s it make me think i might as well add 4oz and get full size 40mm+ obj but id like to have something light in weight and not to cumbersome for now. Id also like to spend less than about $150

Have not found any I like, though I like the format, 28mm over 25mm. Possible Vortex Fury 8x28mm. But I am tired of testing Vortexes. I think maybe the Stokes Broadwing may be a pretty good bin, in a bigger format. The Vortex 8x28 Hurricane may not be quite there. I am tired of sending bins back and forth to find the one 28mm I would like.

Also, avoid the 10x28, generallly. A few models may be OK, and maybe even a few 10x25. But I have mostly given up.

There are very few 9x25s. If you can find a deleted Bushnell Legend 9x25, they are good.

I like the Bushnell Legend 8x42. It has 17mm usable eye relief and weighs 25 oz. But it's $250. The only 8x roof I've tested under $150 is the Oberwerk 8x42 Roof. It's not on top of my list.

Of 10 different 8x40 to 8x45 porros I've tested, only four cost $150 or less.

Oberwerk Mariner 8x40, has 16mm er, wt=33oz., but is really only 8x32 with 8.0° fov., close focus 15', good image good quality, but much smaller aperture due to internal baffles acting as aperture stops.

Pentax PCF WP II 8x40, er=13mm, wt=31oz., fov = 6.3°, fmc, close focus 11', finest resolution, best of these, although some may not like a 6° fov.

Nikon Action Extreme 8x40, er=14mm, wt=30oz., close focus 16', fov = 8.1°, 2nd best

Nikon Action VII 8x40, er=11mm, wt=26oz., close focus 11', fov = 8.2°, short eye relief and only 8x38, poor image quality, not recommended
