Is there any 7x35 that is currently in production and made in Japan? I am looking for a 7x35 for my young niece but am hesitant about the Chinese models I have looked at due to the wobbly eyepiece bridges.

The Nikon Action 7X35 has a great centerfield and is highly rated for an inexpensive porro.
