Dog walking binoculars - recommendations?

I wonder if anyone could suggest a small, light pair of binoculars I could use easily when out walking the dog ! - you know when you're not really on a birdwatching walk but something interesting is bound to pop up and you can't see it ! - I am looking to spend under £100 - any ideas anyone - ta

I've just bought a pair of Opticron Aspheric LE 8x25s for the glovebox, and they seem pretty good. The optics are sharp and bright, they're reasonably compact, eye relief is good for spectacle wearers and they've got twist-up eye cups.

The only downsides are that they are not truly pocketable (better with the case clipped to the belt) and the eye cups feel a bit loose.

Whatever I tried below the £200 plus end of the market felt like a bit of a compromise. Overall though I found the Opticron's to be a pretty good compromise between price, size and optical quality.

Very narrow field of view, though.
