Has anybody dome or heard of an optical comparison between the Zeiss FL range and the Swift 804ED or 820ED?
Not sure it would be worth it - the FL must be streets ahead in most if not every respect.

Interesting comment
I think its fair to say the Zeiss FL is a top grade binocular which possesses some very fine optical and ergonomic attributes but i am not totally sure the optical contest would be as one sided as perhaps you feel
Many folk with better credentials than myself regard the higher end Swift porro models as superb value optically
As ever its personal opinions but i have used a Zeiss 10 x 42 FL for a short time and likewise a Swift 820 ED and my personal conclusion was that i did not have a clear favourite optically it was to my eyes very close indeed and in different aspects i thought both bins had individual winning features
In terms of ergonomics for some the Zeiss would be a clear leader and i found them comfortable to view with but those Swift designers have somehow manage to produce a very relaxing and sharp image as far as i can see
Price is always a factor as well so the contest becomes more blurred
Just a few thoughts with no porro versus roof or Zeiss v Swift wars intended
