edz lens cleaning methods.

I don't think you need to be so alarmingly concerned about touching your glass.

I clean my lenses, gently with either microcloth eyelens cloths and fogging with my breath or Zeiss premoistened lens cloths. I do brush off the lens with a soft lens brush before I start.

I clean tree sap off my lenses with a qtip moistened with a combo mixture of 1/2oz water, 1/2oz alchohol and a drop of free dish detergent then use the fogging method to finish up.
Simple and to the point ...

found this thread from a search. Worked out great for me.

I've found for tree sap and other difficult to shift stuff, after blowing of grit and rinsing to remove salt or other attached grit, soap (hypoallergenic to minimize the number of additives), warm water and a clean grit-free finger works very well with waterproof bins. Rinse and repeat (if needed). Wick away the last of the rinsing water with the edge of bathroom tissue. Then breathe on them and a wipe with a clean microfiber cloth.

No scratches. Like new when finished.

It's a win for waterproof bins!
