Hi, I'm a beginner and was wanting some advice. I've bought my first pair of Binos for birding (Bushnell Natureviews) and was wondering how do you use the eyecups? they are screw up... when using do you have them all the way up and for that matter do you hold the binos resring against your eyelids or hovering just off? and one final question, my wife wear glasses... how should we move the eyecups for when she uses them?
Sorry about these basic questions, I just want to get the best use of these...
Jeff
Glasses: eye cups in
No glasses: out
Depends on your face. I rest my eye cups just below the eye brow, that way it does not touch my eye lids or any part of the eye. But I have kind of sunken eyes.

Ideally, the eyecups should rest against your glasses (folded down, usually all the way) or against your brow ridge (usually folded all or most of the way out). Some people hold the binos without touching them to their face, but that makes it hard to hold them steady. If your bino eyecup size and eye/face dimensions are such that the eyecups rest against your eyelids, that is _not good_ because it pushes against the eye, causing misalignments of your eyes which leads to eye/brain strain.
