What do you gain in optics quality as you move up from one price point to another (porros and roofs)(taking into account ergronomics.)
Nothing. IMHO binoculars are just a status symbol I can see a Dunnock with my Leicas my BF can see the same bird through his £29 cheapo's so whats the big issue?
brighter, sharper image and the ability to show off. But with those new ED binoculars (Zen, Hawke) introduction, it seems there are few parallel curves on price/performance chart. Pick your own lane.
