A friend of mine is looking for a good compact bino while on a long travel in Asia. He is currently in Bangkok, and wonders if he can have a bargain on e.g. Nikon binos because it's Asia and not Europe where Nikon prices are heavily inflated

I dont know about Thailand...but here in Indonesia, Nikon binos are (maybe always...
) sold with higher price tag than say in US...
maybe due to the taxes...so, I live in Asia but I cant get better price for Asian binos..!
