Guidecam for Binoculars?

A while back I said on my wish list was an external image stabilization system I could attach to any binoculars, rather than be limited to Canon's configurations, most of which have small exit pupils and some of which are too bulky and heavy.

Today, while browsing a film industry magazine, I came upon an ad for Guidecam, which is used to externally stabilize still cameras and videocams. This looks like what I had been wishing for, but I will let the experts chime in about whether or not this system is suitable for binoculars.

Excerpt: "These hand-held and body-mounted camera stabilizers create super smooth shots, and allow the operator to walk, run, go up and down stairs, shoot from moving vehicles, and travel over uneven terrain without any camera instability or shake."

I'd be happy just to stand in place with a 12x-15x bin w/out the DTs.

The base model is $369.

They're counterweight systems designed for use on the move, quite different from active electronic IS for static viewing as on the Canon bins - a derivation/copy of Steadicam gear - if you don't "walk, run, go up and down stairs, (view) from moving vehicles, and travel over uneven terrain" while looking through your binoculars, I think they'd essentially act as dead weight.
