Have heard a rumour that leica/zeiss/swaro etc. are in an arms race to produce entry level porro ranges.
Optically are £300 - £400 porros as good as top flight roofs?
Zeiss and Swarovski have made porros for years - I suppose Zeiss could have them made in Hungary or somewhere to make them cheaper.
Can't imagine Leica making an 'entry-level' anything!
If you check out other threads you will see that Nikon SE 10x42 (£479) and SE 8 x 32 (£439) match or even excel top end roofs.
