Lately round sundown, I use to walk a narrow path through wetlands close to my house. Crowded for winterers it's a real pleasure. But most warblers are a difficult affair. The area isn't too suitable for the spotting scope, cause the limited space of view you can find in every point. Hides or feeding points are also out of consideration. The easiest improvement would be a higher power binocular. Usually I carry a pair of 8.5X42EL. If there wouldn't be limits where to choose, I'll take the old 15X60 zeiss. So, which are the options on the cheaper side? For example Swa 15X56 out of consideration. At first place, it looks it's easier get a high level of optic quality in a porroprism with individual focusing than in any other configuration. There was even spanish binoculars ENOSA 7x50 roughly similars in performance to the contemporaneous Nobilems and Doctarems. Something interesting from China? Main aim would be identification.
