I often watch migrating seabirds and I am going to buy either a Leica 12X50 or a Canon 15X50 IS to use with a monopod which I use both handheld or extended. I scan the horizon looking for interesting birds and when I see something far away I use a scope.
Will a handheld FISMO be stable enough for 12x50? Is there anyone who has been able to try both types of binoculars (12x and 15x stabilized) in the field with a FISMO? Any comments would bee appreciated.
