How's this for luck?

Things have taken a turn for the surreal
A few days ago, I pulled my Pentax DCF SP 12.5x50s(in their case) off a middle shelf in my closet, and they fell all of 3ft. to the carpeted floor.
Last night, before leaving for work I mounted them on a tripod and was checking out the moon. Decided to twist the eyecups in so I wouldn't be touching them and causing them to move while viewing. The left eyecup wouldn't adjust. I realized it was from being dropped, and that something was damaged.

This morning I came home, and pulled out my 8x32 version of the SP. Went out on the deck to watch the next-door neighbor's feeders and birdhouses for a few minutes. When I came inside, I put them on the kitchen table, turned around and bumped them off the table onto the kitchen floor. Wonder of wonders, the right eyepiece was visibly deformed, and would no longer adjust.

The 8x32s may or may not have learned a few new words this morning:

I "fixed" them both with pliers, so that the eyecups work again, but they're both going to have to be sent in to Pentax. Guess I'll get to test their customer service.
I don't know what the odds are, but I'm about ready to head for the Georgia state line and buy some lottery tickets...

You deserve some good luck after all the bad luck you have been having. I have done similar things before. One of the most "hair-brained" was knocking my 7x35 Action EXs about 15 feet straight down off the deck on the back of my house. The collimation was slightly off and Nikon repaired them..no charge. Still, it is a sick feeling in the stomach when something like that happens.
