Hi
Having just had a low cost venture for an intriguing little Xmas gift on that well known auction site i am wondering if any of the "seasoned campaigners" can throw any light (no pun intended) on a model of binocular by Hoya
Its 8 x 30 wide angle (148m at 1000m) and seems to be a roof type physically not unlike a Swift Trylite or Leitz Trinovid in body shape
Obviously i'm not expecting spellbinding performance when it arrives after all its a non phase coated older design but i know Hoya have some involvement historically with Optics
Perhaps Henry Link or others may have some info
As can be seen at the price paid its mainly out of interest rather than justifying the buy
Hopefully here is a link

They look like the Swift Trylites of the 1970s. Most likely useable, but don't expect miracles.
