Today, when looking at yellow stained glass, I noticed a difference between the colours of the left and right tubes of an EII. The right side was more saturated and tended towards orange. This was different from the left side and from both my naked eyes.
After thinking about this, I should check each naked eye and use different binoculars. My guess is inconsistency, or lack of quality assurance, in the application of coatings, as there should be no differences between the two sided in types of glass. It could be my eyes are different!

Arthur,
My left and right eyes are different. Colors always look "warmer" through the left. Try using only one eye, switching back and forth quickly between the two barrels.
Henry
Henry,
Indeed, my colour perception differs between my two eyes. In the words of a friend, "Isn't that a kick in the head?"
Happy bird watching,
