Kruger Kalahari 10x30 Waterproof Porro Prism Binocular

I ran across these in a random search and realized they are one of the only smallish, non compact, light, inexpensive, porro's I've seen in 10x.

I know I would likely try them if the optics were up their with the Leupolds or Vortex or Eagle Optics porros. I was wondering if anyone has tried these bins in either the 8x or 10x and can comment on the optical quality? And how stiff the focuser is?

I handled the 8x30 at Kruger's factory in Sisters, OR. POS. save your money. The 8x had the worst case of tunnel vision of any binocular I have ever looked through. It looks very much and feels very much like the Yoemite, although it is a little different. SImilar until you look through it. I'd stay away if it were me.

Done, thanks

I forgot they were local. Next time I'm in the neighborhood I'll have to check them out. Sisters is such a beautiful area.
