Have decided to buy apair of compacts but i am undecided what to go for i.I have looked at Opticron DBA which i can buy for about £200 .But wonder if i buy them will i wish i had spent more money and bought Leica or Swarovski as every where i read say they are the best.But am i paying only for the name or is there really a big difference. I dont mind spending £400 on Leicas but then will i say well theres not much difference.So not sure what to do its either spend a couple of hundred or four hundred pounds on them.
Appreciate some advice .I do wear glasses so eye relief would be important.

my advice, would be to go to your nearest optical dealer and compare them side by side.
You will probably find that the Opticron DBA are not that far away, optically from the Swaros, Leicas.
Thanks Gary i did have a go with the opticron dbas and was quite impressed but the shop did not sell Leicas or Swarovskis so wasnt able to try them.H
