Hi,
I have a pair of Hawke Frontier ED 8x43 and I've noticed a silvery covering on the inside of the right-eye lense. I've tried cleaning it with microfibre cloth but the silver "coating" seems to be on the inside.
Looking through the binoculars still produces a sharp image but I'm just a little concerned about this silvery coating.
Anyone have an idea what the problem is?
Regards,
Jon M
Damp...?
If it is damp then they're going to have to go back to the manufacturer as these are nitrogen purged to avoid fogging and sealed to be fully waterproof
Oh well, time to send them back. :-(
Cheers,
Jon.
