Looks like Mexico will soon have a retail source for good optics at reasonable prices.
I was informed on a recent trip in Veracruz that ProNatura Veracruz has plans on becoming an affiliate of Eagle Optics. There are apparently still some details to work out, but they hope to be ready to begin sales this summer.

My mexican friends can always find a good deal on eBay for optics.. They only have to pay extra 5-10 bucks for shipping..Joking aside, it may be a welcomed message for some of fellow birders. Thanks
