Nephew is coming into town wants to bird Everglades in November with me, Any suggestion on a good mid priced water proof roof bin? He is 11. Budget 300 or 350 dollars? I think 8x32 would best because of the wide field might help him find the birds easier vs. narrow. Pentax, Swift, Celestron, Eagle Optics?

How about Nikon Monarch's? - I've not used them myself but the water-resistant Nikon Sporters are a cracking budget binocular.
