Last year I bought a Minolta Classic WP 8 x 42 bino and found it to be excellent in every way. My wife now wants the same - but it seems to have been discontinued.
Can anyone recommend a similar bino? I paid about $100 but found the results to be as good as any other bino I checked out up to $250-$300.

Minolta was a good brand. I think you will need to go to a store so you can figure out just how much you need to pay. But there is not all that much change from $250 to $700.
