Monocular Vortex Zen Ray

Hi all, this is a repost of my first post over in the spotting scope threads.I was never sure on posting it there...

"Thank you all for the knowledge I've gathered so far on these forums, on binos, monoculars, and bats. This forum is very impressive. Congratulations to the active members that make this place "The" place it is.

I recently bought this monocular.......
http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/...8x36-monocular
very happy with it, or should I say very impressed with it, as my previous monoculars were of the cheapy tasco type. I bought it for 119$ Can. at this storefront....
http://eagleopticscanada.stores.yahoo.net/
which is part of....
http://guelph.wbu.com/

It's best if your well informed on what you want when dealing with the staff. You will prolly be informing them.
My question. Having just bought this monocular I of course see Zen Ray has a 8x42 out.....
http://www.zen-ray.com/shop/monoculars/monohd8x42.html
Anyone have experience with it?
Hoping future monocular posts are here

EDIT HERE...
Added: Placement of this thread, here or in bino?
Please move as see fit.
Thanks J"

I assume the monocular is based on the ZRS optically. Knowing the image quality that the Zen Ray ZRS produces, which is very close to the ED2, the monocular should produce the same quality image minus one barrel.

How many monocular are available that have Dielectric Prism Coating?

Close focus 16.4 feet VS ZRS 6 feet.

The ZRS needs a clip like the Vortex. Perhaps something removable would be great. An optional hand strap would be nice too!
