Just bought a neoprene bin strap on E-bay for less than £3 and after a couple of days birding I can say it has lessened the pressure/strain on my neck.
Anyone else noticed a difference using one of these straps. Also are there any other accessories out there to improve birding that us novices might not be aware of ?
Max.
Hi Max,
yep, I've got neoprene straps on my bins, Panasonic FZ20 and Nikon D70 and - aside from the sweatiness in warm weather - I wouldn't be without them.
Hi Max,
Couldn't agree more, I have Op-Tech neoprene straps on my bins, SLR's and the huge tripod strap too - they were recommended by a good photography friend who, like me, suffers with shoulder & neck problems.
They dramatically reduce the weight (or at least the perceived weight) of my gear and I find I no longer suffer fatigue after a long days birding.
Availability can be a bit iffy in the UK (mine were brought back from USA by a mate) but worth the effort of tracking down.
