I have a budget of about 250-300.
What would y'all suggest for my price range.

What are you going to use the binoculars for. Backpacking, theater, birding, hunting, astronomy?
I'm not aware of a manufacturer like Nikon offering a special discount to retail buyers. I suspect they offer some good pricing through the exchanges so compare those prices to the ones found at reputable local and online dealers.

I would be using them more for hunting and some birding. I have a good 6x22 rangefinder so I was thinking about getting 10x50 binos but I asked this on another forum and most of the people suggested 8x42. I would like something that brings in a lot of light for early morning/late evening with a clear crisp field of view.
