I had both at the same time, and i still have the Nikon 10x35. The fact that i let go of the Leica tells you which one is better optically. That being said, i believe the Trinovid 10x32 to be the best or one of the best roof prism 10x32 ever made (i have not looked through the Ultravid 10x32, i have have seen all others)

Can you pinpoint any optical characteristics that made you keep the Nikon, like edge sharpness / brightness or the such? Do you think the differences are subtle or really easy to see?
I suspect the Ultravids are quite like the Trinovids optically, though I'm not 100% sure of this.
