Hello,
I am a newcomer to this site and I registered only to find some rellzable reviews and expert opinions about binoculars. I am from eastern Europe where binoculars are more expensive, so I will by one from the States. Until now I am kind of decided to buy the Nikon 10x56 Monarch ATB because the objective would be watching wildlife in the mountains and forests. I red reviews about this binocular but they didn't convince me that this is the right one (and I can't try it first). People write more about the Nikon 10x42 Monarch ATB Binoculars with Dielectric Coating that it is great (example www.binoculars.com) but give less appreciation to the 10x56.
I read your post on this forum and figured maybe you or the people in this forum can help me make the best possible decision without trying the binocular first.
I need a good, very resistant, waterproof, fog-proof and shock-proof binocular without a tripod (handheld, so 12x would be to much) fore wildlife watching. I stay out even at night so that is why I figured x56 would be god (until now I had a 8x50). It should have good optics day and night.
The absolute maximum budget limit which I do not wish to exceed is 400$.
Anny suggestions recommendations or eventual confirmations (for the choice I made) are welcome.
Thank you,
Alpár
