i have just picked up a new pair of bosma 8x32 7.5 deg nikon se lookalike porro binoculars, centrally very sharp and very bright , waterproof and with premium prisms and full m/coating. a bit on the heavy side but just what i wanted as i prefer porros. but the lack of waterproofing with porros is a major drawback, so impressed am i, i have bought the 8.5x42 , 10x50 ,12x50 models [sold in the uk as helios aquilas]. the 8x32 is as far as know not normally available in the uk. all four cost me £225.00 inc shipping, a one time only deal from a dealer as they were all reps samples. the sale of my much loved premium myauchi clone 100mm semi apo binoculars and nikon premium binoculars has released funds for these and bills at home . now these and not the nikons will have to go with me to the grave. - that as they say, is life !!!
