Hello forum.
Heres a question for you.
If an alpha binocular has an objective lens replaced due to damage etc, assuming the replacement would be of a lens using the latest coatings, would the left and right views be different to be noticeable or not ...?
No. You won't notice the difference. The AR coatings only loose a tiny fraction of the light (0.2% or less per surface) so even small differences between the coatings would be even small than that. You can't see differences that small.

Hello Ingle1970,
Why would the replacement be one with the latest coatings? The firm might have older spares.
