One Handed Bino Use?

How many of use do this? I do on occasion, especially for quick views to verify what I think I am seeing with the naked eye, say a goose across a pond, just to make sure it is not something more unusual. I had read somewhere that this was more common amongst European birders but that may have been an ad trying to sell ELs or something of the like. (If you put Euro on it and sell it in North America, it must be better, right?)

I've done it for flying birds most, panning. Not so easy standing still.

I do on occasion as well....usually when walking the dog and I only have one hand free. It is difficult to do with larger and heavier binoculars which is usually what I am toting with me.

Absolutely. Check out the Cabelas Euro Bins for example.
