OP/TECH Dual Harness

I've become a fan of using high power binoculars off a monopod as an alternative to a spotting scope. Ideally, I'd like to carry two pairs of bins at once; a low power pair for close in birds and a high power pair for distant targets. The best solution I came up with was to wear the low power bins around my neck and carry the high power bins in a camera belt bag.

While reading Outdoor Photographer tonight, I found another solution. OP/TECH now has a Dual Harness designed to carry two cameras or binoculars at once. I've seen other straps like this, but they were really expensive. These are less than $35 delivered from several different sources (Amazon, BHphoto, Adorama, etc). An extra benefit is that if you use OP/TECH straps on your bins, you can easily switch from a normal strap to the dual harness. The harness is designed mainly for cameras, so it should handle even heavy bins comfortably. I'm hoping the effect will like carrying two bins bandoleer style without the straps getting tangled up.

OP/TECH has a little video to demo the product:

I've ordered one through Amazon. It comes in two sizes; regular and extra long.

I'd love to hear your field report on this. It's an interesting idea but how does a dual work out in "real life"?
