Op/tech System Connectors

I'm curious how many other people are using the Op/Tech System Connectors and interchanging harness or strap.

Given my collection of bins (some of which are "heavy") I need to start using a harness and as I like using a shorter neck strap for lighter bins (or some heavy bins for a short period of time), a longer "bandolier" strap (over-the-right-shoulder) for heavier bins and potentially a harness for all day heavier bin use I'd like to settle on a flexible system.

What are you experience of these systems?

Or perhaps are using another similar system that I don't know about yet!

I don't use their harnesses, but I do make heavy use of the Op/Tech straps. I find the Fashion Strap (unsewn edges) more comfortable than the Classic Strap (sewn edges) because it conforms to the shape of my neck better (esp. in summer when I sometimes wear collarless shirts). I use the Fashion Bino version, which has no quick connectors. If you want to use the connector system, I'd recommend the type 3 connector as it adjusts well and is compatible with the use of an ocular rainguard. For best use with a rainguard, keep the small plastic adjustment buckle up close to the quick release so that the bino hangs on a long doubled-over length of strap (I then sew the doubled-over section against itself, but you might not want to do that if you want to retain quick length adjustability).

Many thanks for those tips, Alexis.
