I have tried the DBAs sometime ago and was impressed. The RSPBs I am not familiar with.
The DBAs are lightweight for a full size bin and the image through them is great (I can't remember exactly why a it was a while ago).
The only thing tht puts me off them somewht is the fied of view is only 7 degrees.
What is the fov on the RSPBs?
Second-hand is a good way to get better optics for the same price. Have a look at their website or pop up to Cleyspy at Glandford and see what they have in their used section.
Take your time deciding these things can't be rushed.
Good luck.
