When birding I carry my Canon camera with a 100/400 telephoto and a 1.4 converter slung around my neck. This can get quite heavy when walking any distance so I tend to leave my 10 x 40 binoculars at home. However, very often it would be nice to have binoculars with me.
What I require is a lightweight pair that I can slip into my pocket that would still give a good quality performance but without being too big and heavy. Also I wear glasses which might complicate my choice.
Could anyone suggest some binos that fulfill my requirements, the price is important but not a deal breaker.
Thanks for your help.............Dave
If you can use your camera for a scope, then you need only an 8x.
Nikon Premier LX-L 8x20 Binoculars sells here for 360 dollars.
For less money, Bushnell Excursion 8x28, a little bulkier.
