Recomend your favorite wide angle 6x to 8x bin that is available now

Hello everyone,

I really like the relaxed view through a low power wide angle binocular, but I don't own one. Can anyone recommend a favorite bin that is from 6 to 8x, has a field of view that is 420' or better, and is on the market now. Any price range will do. The widest I have is the Nikon SE 8x which is 393' at 1000 yards.

Many thanks,
Jim

I like Swarovski 8x32 EL, Zeiss 8x32 FL, Swarovski 7x42 SLC, Zeiss 7x42 FL all of which all meet your criteria. Of these, I'd go for the 7x42 SLC because the wide exit pupil makes it easy to take full comfortable advantage of the reasonably uniformly sharp FOV. But my favorite current production <10x birding bino overall is the Swarovski 8.5x42 EL which has a FOV similar to your Nikon 8x32 SE.

I´d back up Alexis on the Swaro EL 8x32, my fave low-ish power bins. I´ve never owned the 8.5x42. Mad money, though.
