Thanks for the heads up! I have always dealt with Optics4Birding and Eagle Optics (bigger & well-regarded sites) and have always been more than satisfied with their response and customer service--what you are going through makes it harder for other smaller birding sites to do business! 
In the astronomy arena, the dealer in Anacortes has a good reputation. Eagle Optics has a 30-day return policy. But I'm interested to read that they refund "the full amount less shipping costs." Since the customer is paying shipping both ways, what's to deduct?
